Peter Renton’s created Lend Academy to focus on the social lending and peer-to-peer lending market. The forum included investment strategies, news on the industry, interviews with entrepreneurs in the space, and educational content. Renton was early into the P2P lending space and has publicly tracked his returns for years. In 2021, after a brief period of downtime, Sean Murray reached out to Renton about folding Lend Academy into his deBanked platform. Renton continues to run a fintech news site, while Murray operates what remains of the Lend Academy platform.
